I grew up in Fargo North Dakota, graduated Fargo Central High School ’62, University of North Dakota, BS ’66, University of Arizona MBA ’69, University of Oklahoma DBA ’74. I taught management theory and behavior at UND, Chinese University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University, University International Business and Economic – Beijing, NDSU, University of Mary Fargo, and Concordia MN. I lived in China for 17 years, experiencing and studying this civilization’s impact on life, and returned with a Chinese wife and our two children, to continue experiencing, studying, and writing about the rise and fall of civilizations. This blog is an attempt to share my journey.
